Maker's Social Club: Donald Duck Day!

The Labs are hosting a major birthday bash for one of the most beloved Walt Disney characters. That's right, Donald Duck Day is approaching!  Join us and celebrate the anniversary of Donald Duck's debut in The Wise Little Hen on July 9, 1934. Come reminisce in your childhood by creating 3-D printed ducks on our 3D printers. Light snacks will be provided.

Tiny Art in a Matchbox

In this class, you’ll learn how to make small dioramas or “pop-ups” using a matchbox as your frame. We’ll briefly look at other artists who make miniature art and discuss the concept of a matchbox “theater.” We’ll then use X-Acto knives, paper, glue, old postage stamps, and magazine images to create a matchbox piece that you can take home with you.
