Zine Night with DC Zinefest!

Ever wanted to make a zine? Have one started that you can’t seem to finish? Join organizers of the 2015 DC Zinefest (happening July 25th at St. Stephen's Church), along with local zine makers, to learn about zines and get creative! *Teens can earn Summer Reading Badges for attending this program!* For adults and teens.

Learn the lore behind this traditional Native American craft while making your own dream catcher that reflects your unique style and sensibilities. Classes will be held Aug. 5, Aug. 12, Aug. 19 and Aug. 26. We recommend attending 2-3 sessions to complete your dream catcher.

David Quick of Southeast Neighborhood Library and resident knitting aficionado extraordinaire will be on deck to highlight different knitting patterns you can use to spruce up your bike, including a pattern that has the D.C. flag on it! Free. No registration required. Knitting needles are available to borrow.
