Common Threads in Shaw Art Event

This coming Sunday, October 11, the Watha T. Daniel/Shaw Neighborhood Library is hosting a program in partnership with New Community Artspace to feature fiber arts in the Shaw community. There will be fiber artists (knitters, weavers, fashion designers, etc) stationed on the sidewalk between the Shaw library (1630 7th St NW) and Artspace (614 S St NW) actively engaging in their respective art form, and all of the artists will be connected by a yarn chain to represent the community connection.
