On April 20, 2016, pre-schoolers and their care-takers will be sure to enjoy fun stories that explore rhythm, melody and syncopation - three of the main elements in jazz music. Jazz, which is an original and uniquely American art form, naturally promotes the idea of language, listening and use of the imagination. As an extra special treat, The Phelps ACE High School Brass Ensemble will play a bit of live jazz music to help bring the stories to life.
