Countdown to the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Palisades Library on November 15!

The Palisades Library will celebrate 50 years at the V St NW location from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Library Director Richard Reyes-Gavilan will lead a keynote address beginning at 1:30 p.m. A special day of events is planned including technology workshops, local bands, and a puppet show!  See a 3-D printer in action and meet local community groups!  The day's events have been generously supported by the Friends of Palisades Library.

Job Seekers Computer Basics

Start your job search today at the Parklands-Turner Neighborhood Library, using DC Public Library computers.  Each computer training class for job seekers will focus on the very basics to help get you started. All training sessions will be led by one (1) trainer paired with four (4) adult students. Classes meet the first Monday of every month from 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., with special sessions announced periodically.* Space is limited, please phone ahead or visit the branch to reserve your seat at one or more training sessions.
