Teaching artist Tom Minter and DC Public Librarians will lead an interactive program for all ages about Marian Anderson, a renowned African American singer who overcame discrimination to be trained and perform in noted venues such as the Metropolitan Opera House.
The audience will have many opportunities to sing along and participate.
