In celebration of Black History, please join us for a lecture focussing on African American teenagers during the Civil Rights Movement by renowned author and historian C.R. Gibbs at the Francis A. Gregory Library. The lecture will be held in the second floor meeting room.

Women's History Ride with Women & Bicycles and DCPL

Support empowering women by hitting the road with us!   The Washington Area Bicycle Association's Women & Bicycles and DC Public Library are empowering women through biking!  This feminist history-themed bike ride will stop at four DCPL branches (Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Anacostia and Southwest) for women’s history-related activities and will also feature a photo booth, snacks, and some surprises along the way!
