Join us as we wrap-up this year's summer reading program for teens, Beneath the Surface. Enter to win door prizes, play games and learn how the library can help you make this school year your best one ever. Light refreshments will be served. This program is for ages 12-19.

Celebrate at the Summer Reading End Party! Make a Gnome hat! Play "Gnome Toss"! And at 2 p.m., we will show a special film about... You guessed it -- Gnomes! There will also be fun for Teens and Adults!

Enjoy a PowerPoint slide show of Frederick Douglass' Life, followed by a fun trivia questionnaire for participants.

Gene Luen Yang

Award winning graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang will talk about his new two-volume novel, Boxers and Saints. Set during China's Boxer Rebellion (1899-1900), the books tell the parallel stories of two young people caught on opposite sides of a violent rift.
