After-School Tutoring with 826DC

826DC provides DC students ages 6-18 with free one-on-one homework help for all subject areas in After-School Tutoring program. With the support of volunteer tutors, students focus first on their homework, complete required reading their teachers assign, and participate in creative writing activities. After-School Tutoring will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm at Mount Pleasant Library in their large meeting room on the first floor. The program will run from September 15th through October 29th.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Join us for our fourth annual stuffed animal sleepover! Children can come to the library in their pajamas and bring a stuffed animal. Their plush pals will spend the night in the library and have lots of fun. Each child will make a keepsake album, which will hold photos of the stuffed animals' adventures. This program is for children from 0-6.
