DC Water Environmental Education

Bellevue Library and DC Water offer a free environmental education program to engage students about the District's water supply and significant environmental issues impacting our nation's water resources. The program and activities are designed for k-8 students. Come have fun while learning about our environment!

Tots and Toys Winter Playdate

Brrrrr, it's cold outside! Join us in the Children's Room this winter for an informal, indoor playdate. Kids can play with toys, browse the books, visit with friends, and toddle! We'll set out toys to develop motor skills and books to encourage early literacy. You bring the little ones. For children ages birth to 3 with their parents or caregivers.

Weekend Wii Club

Music Time

Sing, play, dance and learn. That’s our motto for this program.  Children of all ages will have the opportunity to play musical instruments, sing along with popular songs, dance to their favorite music, and learn the alphabet and how to count. This program is all about rhythm and speech stimuli that allow children to enjoy music.

Family Story Time

Story time fun for the entire family, these 30-40 minutes story times are packed full of books and activities designed to be enjoyed by all ages.  Promoting language and literacy skills, these story times are a great way to further your child’s lifelong love of reading and learning. Children and their grownups are encouraged to actively engage and participate with the stories and activities during the program.  We will have a craft after the story time.
