Sept. 13th is Roald Dahl Day! Celebrate at the library during our regular scheduled Family Fun Day Sunday program. We'll show a movie adaptation of one of Roald Dahl's books and have games and crafts to enjoy!

Happy Halloween! Join us in the Children's Room of the Northeast Library for a day of stories, crafts, and tasty treats! Spooky Storytime: 10:30-11 a.m. Creepy Crafts: 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Trick or Treat: 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Be sure to come in costume!

Come celebrate the end of another successful D.C. library summer reading program! We will have crafts, food, and prizes for all so  join in the fun as we end summer with a bash! This program is for children of all ages.

D.C. Shorts Film Festival Family Showcase

The D.C. Shorts Film Festival brings the best films under 20 minutes from around the globe to enthusiastic audiences throughout Washington, DC. Join us for a special FREE Family Showcase at eight different DC Public Library locations around the city. This showcase runs approximately 50 minutes and the films are appropriate for children ages 8 and older.

American Sign Language (ASL) Story Time!

Janice Rosen, Deaf Services Librarian, will sign stories in American Sign Language (ASL).   Therapy dogs from People Animals Love (PAL) will join the story time fun.    Story-related activities will follow.
