Who lived in Washington before it was Washington?!    Margaret Brent, a colonist who became the first woman landowner and the first woman lawyer in America, takes kids on an interactive journey where they can become early settlers and Indians, and learn what life was like in the 1600s.

Women’s History Quilt Project

As part of Women’s History Month, children and tweens can make a paper quilt piece about women in their lives or famous women in history. The pieces will be put together as one quilt and displayed at Rosedale for the rest of March.

Family Movie Night

Come celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day with a family movie about a teen boy who discovers he has an unusual heritage—his mother is a leprechaun! And not only is he turning into one himself, but there’s an evil leprechaun out to get his family. This fun Disney movie is rated PG and runs for 90 minutes.
