How To Be A Hero: The Sequel!

"How To Be A Hero: The Sequel" is a fun storytelling, reading, writing and drawing program for our Summer Readers, ages 6 - 9.   Let’s explore the continuing adventures of those superhero “alter egos” and bring the adventures to an exciting end! This program can count towards 1 hour (= 4 colored masks) of Summer Reading credit!

Answer: Come and find out on July 8, 2015 Join us for a fun, interactive read-aloud with books from the Healthy Schools Act Booklist that celebrates health and wellness. This program is for 5-10 year olds designed to build literacy, listening and group participation skills. For ages 5-7 at 10:30 am Ages 8-12 at 1 pm

Healthy Schools Act Story Time

Join us for a fun read-aloud with Nutrition Education Specialist, Laura Hansen.  In addition to teaching kids about nutrition and physical activity, this story time aims to build literacy, listening, and group participation skills. Recommended for children between the ages of 5-10.

Tea Time Under the Trees

Pre-Kindergarteners (ages 3 - 5) celebrate "Great Outdoors Month" with "Tea Time Under the Trees" -- a time of stories, dancing and art...with refreshing citrus iced tea as a summer-time treat! Bring your own snacks and sippy cups (for drinking tea). In the event of rain, we will meet indoors.

Tea Time Under the Trees Pt. 2 (Bigger Kids Like Tea Parties Too)

Celebrate Great Outdoors Month with "Tea Time Under the Trees!" We will read stories, play group games and make tree art on the front lawn during an early evening of summer breezes and shady trees. Fragrant iced tea will be served as refreshment! "Bigger little kids" (ages 5 - 8) are encouraged to bring their own child-friendly tea cups (if they have them) as well as a favorite snack to enjoy.
