Baby Time

Stories, songs and fun for young ones. Please note that 10:30 a.m. Baby Time will be ticketed to a maximum of 70 people. Tickets are available for free at the Children's Desk, starting at 9:30 a.m. The second Baby Time at 11 a.m. will be the same program but will be open admission.

Toddler Art & Stories

A themed story time that focuses on exploring art materials through process-oriented art. Recommended for ages 2-5.

Bilingual Spanish Story Time

Stories, songs, dances, and more in English and Spanish for children ages 0-5 and their adults.  For safety's sake, there is a limit of 75 participants for each story time.Remember there is a story time at 10 a.m. and another repeated at 11 a.m. To schedule a class visit, please call 202-671-3125. Winnie the Pooh Afternoon

In celebration of A.A. Milne’s birthday, Rosedale is having a Winnie the Pooh afternoon. At 4 p.m., there will be a Winnie the Pooh story time. At 4:30 p.m., the entire family can enjoy a film of Winnie the Pooh adventures and do Pooh-themed crafts as well. The film is rated G and runs for 57 minutes. 

ASL Story Time

Stories, games, fun in American Sign Language (ASL).  Deaf Services Librarian Janice Rosen will read stories about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.       Ages 3-5.  ASL/voice interpreters and therapy dogs from People Animals Love will be present.
