Zoo Story Time

DC Public Library has partnered with the Junior League of Washington to offer Read Aloud time for ages 2-5 every Saturday at 10 a.m.  Join us to enjoy stories, rhymes and finger plays in front of the fireplace!

Dr. Seuss Day

Celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America with the following programs at the William O. Lockridge/Bellevue Library: Dr. Seuss on Loose Story Time, 10:30 a.m. Music, stories, activities and crafts for children 7 and under. Fun with Thing 2 and 1, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Treats, games, and crafts for children 12 and under. Seuss Film Fest, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Treats and animated films based on Dr. Seuss's most popular books.  

Family Story Time

Story time fun for entire family, these 30-40 minutes story times are packed full of books and activities designed to be enjoyed by all ages. Promoting language and literacy skills, these story times are a great way to further your child's lifelong love of reading and learning. Children and their grownups are encouraged to actively engage and participate with the stories and activities during the program.  All programs are free and open to the public.

Dr. Seuss on the Loose
