Summer Reading Kickoff: Training Camp

Get your body and mind ready for Summer Reading!   Stop by the courtyard* in front of the Chevy Chase Library to train for success and sign up for Summer Reading. Activities and giveaways for all ages.   *Rain location is the 2nd floor. 
Child Yoga

Summer Adult-Child Yoga Program

The Palisades Library is piloting an Adult-Child Yoga class for the summer. Led by instructor Dexter Sumner, this class will guide adults and children through the basic principles of yoga, breathing exercises and poses. Learn the many benefits of yoga, from flexibility and strength to creating confidence and peace of mind.  All levels welcome. This class is recommended for adults and children 6 and older. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Summer Reading Kick-Off at Takoma Park (DC) Library

Monday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m.  Join us as we kick-off Summer Reading 2016 at Takoma Park (DC) Library with a musical performance featuring guest artist, Sean Gaskell, playing traditional songs on the Kora, a 21-string harp used in West Africa.  All Ages.  Check out our webpage for exciting programs all summer long, http://dclibrary.org/takoma.
