OSSE Healthy Schools ACT: Story Time

Question: What food every hero loves to eat? Answer: Come and find out on July 8. Join us for a fun, interactive read-aloud with books from the Healthy Schools Act Booklist that celebrates health and wellness. This program is for 5- to 10-year-olds designed to build literacy, listening and group participation skills. For ages 5-7 at 10:30 a.m. Ages 8-12 at 1 p.m.

Pacific Rhythm is a Polynesian dance troupe made up of a family of six. They feature traditional dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, and Samoa with authentic costumes from each island. They bring the culture of the Pacific Islands, the music, and the dancing to you. People of all ages will be up on their feet as they teach Polynesian dances.
