The Woodridge Branch of the DC Public Library opened January 16, 1958. The library reopened at its current location on September 26, 2016. The library seeks to cultivate and enhance a literate and digitally prepared community by hosting community meetings; provides literacy, educational and cultural programming; and boasts partnerships with advocacy groups to provide customer driven programs and services. The library has three meeting rooms of various sizes, two terraces and 36 public access computers.
