Holds that customers placed between Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 and Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 that have not been fulfilled have been automatically transferred to the Interim Library, the Northeast Library. Southeast Library Construction Updates
DC Public Library is modernizing the Southeast Library. DC Public Library has hired the design/build team of Whiting-Turner Construction/Quinn Evans Architects for the $33 million transformation of this historic Carnegie library. The design will be a blend of preservation, renovation and rehabilitation. Customers will have access to a variety of interim services during the renovation.
