Dance and Recording Studios (Studio Lab)

If this is your first time at the Labs, you'll need to complete a Labs Participant Release Form (bring library card and valid photo ID) and review our safety guidelines, please arrive 10-15 mins earlier than the start of your session to complete and review these documents.

Schedule a 2-hour DIY Audio Recording Studio Session.

The Audio Recording Studio has a 3-person capacity. A Labs Participant Release Form (bring library card and valid photo ID) is required for all persons attending the session.

During your session, please do not save any recordings to the Studio’s iMac, instead, save to your cloud or personal storage device and remember to delete all personal files from the iMac.

Schedule a 2-hour Dance Studio Session.

The Dance Studio has a 8-person capacity. A Labs Participant Release Form (bring library card and valid photo ID) is required for all persons attending the session; any participant without their Library card, valid photo ID and incomplete Release Form  will be unable to use the Dance Studio. Commercial use is prohibited.

The Studio has AV system, projector, portable dance barres (upon request) and wall-to-wall mirror. Participants must bring equipment/cables: Laptops and other devices with auxiliary, HDMI, USB or VGA ports. Use of AV system is facilitated by Labs staff. The Studio is unfurnished and visible to the public.

Schedule a 2-hour DIY Multipurpose Studio Session.

The Multipurpose Studio intended use are for band/voice practice or green screen/photography sessions. Participants must bring their own musical and photography equipment. Max capacity is five (5) persons. A Labs Participant Release Form (bring library card and valid photo ID) is required for all persons attending the session. Commercial use is prohibited.

The Multipurpose Studio has two (2) tables, five (5) chairs, ten (10) wall power outlets and four (4) floor power outlets, and, by request, 3-point lighting kit or green screen.
