Service Alert

The Northwest One Library closed at 5 p.m., today, Monday, July 15 due to high temperatures in the building. The Takoma Park Library closed at 6 p.m., today, Monday, July 15 due to a power outage in the area. 

The Bellevue/William O. Lockridge Library is closed temporarily for major repairs to the HVAC system. Repairs are underway and the library will reopen on Thursday, July 18. 

ESL Groups

ESL Conversation Circles

The Adult Learning Department offers ESL Conversation Circles to help learners practice their speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. It is for non-native speakers of English who are 18+ years old with low-intermediate or higher skills. 

 

The Conversation Circles are currently being held virtually Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am -12pm and 6-8pm. To participate in one of the sessions or for more questions please reach out to the Adult Learning Department.
